Why hire virtual support?

A virtual postpartum doula can provide valuable support and guidance during the challenging postpartum period, offering emotional and practical assistance from the comfort of your own home. They can help you navigate the physical and emotional changes that come with childbirth, provide light support with breastfeeding*, and offer resources for self-care and baby care.

*It's important to seek guidance from a lactation consultant for more specialized assistance with latching issues. They can provide individualized support and strategies to help improve breastfeeding success. I am not a lactation consultant, which is why I say light support with breastfeeding. I can help with the environment for feeding, storage tips, and tips on how to make night feeds easier and more efficient.

Individual Sessions

60-minute call or FaceTime

During our one-hour call, we can discuss any topic related to birth, postpartum care, babies, and sleep. Feel free to share whatever's on your mind. I'm here to help you structure your day or reassure you that it's completely normal if you're not leaving your bed for 30 days. I'm on your side, offering nonjudgmental guidance, support, and education.

You can always add more assistance in the form of emails if needed!

60-minute Zoom or call; We can discuss a wide variety of topics. Some ideas but not at all limited to:

  • The birthing experience or journey

  • Postpartum

  • Breastfeeding

  • Newborns

  • Sleep

  • Anything on your mind

  • How so-and-so won’t stop giving you unwanted advice; I have a LOT of tips on this.

  • Roles of parenthood and maybe how you like or do not like them; ways to distribute them properly or in a way that suits your family.

  • A lot of parents want to know how to travel with a baby. I had a peculiar schedule that involved traveling every five weeks with my daughter. The first time we flew she was only three months old. She cried for so long that the entire plane clapped when she finally stopped. It was definitely embarrassing. I have learned some tips and tricks, and even though I've had more challenging experiences since then, I've picked up many useful strategies that I'd love to share!

  • One initial Zoom before the baby comes to go over any concerns or fears. We can tour the sleeping spaces if you would like.

  • Before the baby comes, you’re welcome to email me any questions.

  • The first 24 hours after bringing the baby home, you can text me. Day or night.

  • Within the first couple of days, we can Zoom to go over the birthing experience and just talk.

  • We will have 5 or 11 weekly check-in calls after this.

  • You will be able to text* me with any questions for the whole 6 or 12 weeks after the baby is born! This is one of the rare ways to be able to access texting with me! *after 5 pm I will respond less and slower as my kids know that is when my work day “ends.”

  • If you are nursing in the middle of the night and have questions or concerns, you’re more than welcome to email me, and if I’m up, I will answer and if I’m asleep, I will get back to you first thing in the morning. An off-hours way to get in contact with me.

  • You are welcome to any of my sleep advice. You can ask for as much or as little as you like.

  • I will only take on four virtual doula clients at a time to ensure quality. Please reach out for information. Contact Me
